I Can Cook ProjectBack
Kwai Yin received work training in the shelter workshop in Wai Ji. She lives alone and has to take care of her daily diet. In order to allow service users to eat healthy, the workshop specially invites professional voluntary chefs to teach them cooking skills.
After participating in the "I Can Cook" project, Kwai Yin learned to cook new dishes by using a rice cooker. Kwai Yin's leadership skills were revealed during the process and she would carefully assist the team members to complete their tasks from time to time.
The project is sponsored by the Hong Kong Horse Owners Association Charity Fund. After each service user has completed the workshop, they will receive a rice cooker so that they can continue to pratice what they have learned and cook a delicious meal for themselves and their famililes.
