This year, the Physical Fitness and Sports Development Working Group is funded by the Hong Kong Racehorse Owners Association Charitable Foundation Limited to organize “Boccia Fun Day” to train athletes’ concentration, muscles coordination and strategic use. Wheelchair users are also suitable for the sport. In order to let more colleagues understand and master the skills and competition rules of this sport, the programme includes the implementation of the “Boccia Staff Traning”, which was held in Yuen Long and Kowloon in November 2020. There are total 30 staff from 13 service units to attend the training. The “Boccia Fun Day” is expected to be held in 2021 after the epidemic.
