To deepen the understanding of our staff on national rehabilitation services, the Agency organized the “Greater Bay Area Rehabilitation Service Exchange Tour” from 6 to 8 May 2024., sending 23  management staff to Guangzhou and Foshan

Having visited an ageing-in-place integrated service centre in Guangzhou, the Guangdong Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities, and the Guangdong Provincial Cultural Sports and Rehabilitation Assistive Devices Center for People with Disabilities, the delegation was impressed by the application of big data, comprehensive management as well as advanced rehabilitation facilities in China.

Thanks to Mr Zou Jian, Director of the Social Work Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR and the visited units for making the tour rich and smooth. The tour not only facilitated cross-unit communication among our colleagues to enhance team moral but also provided a deeper insight into the national rehabilitation services.
