Wai Ji is invited to be one of the co-organizers at the 26^th Yuen Long Arts Festival. The opening programme “Portraying Yuen Long with Art” was successfully held from 24 to 26 August 2023. Mr. Michael Chan, our Chief Executive, and government and community representatives from Yuen Long district also graced the festival with their presence.

There were 3 main parts in “Portraying Yuen Long with Art”. The exhibition “Inclusion for Yuen Long” displayed painting and pottery works by our artists to tell the history, transformations and distinctive culture of Yuen Long. The microfilm “Still Love You” was based on a story of our service user, narrating a story of sisterhood in Yuen Long community. Furthermore, handcraft workshops “Potential in Yuen Long” were held by our artists from 4 Yuen Long units, showing the artistic talents of our service users.
