In early 2022, Hong Kong experienced the fifth wave of the new coronavirus epidemic. A lot of residential care homes had infected cases and ours were no exceptions. With many service users catching the disease, the caring workload was heavy and the manpower was extremely tight. Nevertheless, as “a friend loves at all times and a brother is born for a time of adversity” (Proverbs 17:17), our staff succeeded in leading the service users to ride out this period of hardship by working together whole-heartily and avoiding no toils.

To give recognition to the remarkable efforts of all the staff, our Agency awards each of them a Certificate of Special Commendation or a Certificate of Commendation, to be presented to the awardees by our Chief Executive Mr. Michael Chan in their work units.
