Our New Territories Regional Flag Day was held on 7 August 2019. That day the weather was good and no significant problems occurred during the course of the event. There were altogether more than 1,300 voluntary flag-sellers and a total amount of about $700,000 was raised. Thanks were due to the working group responsible for organizing this flag day, to service users’ family members who had helped to mail the voluntary flag-seller recruitment letter and donation appeal letter, to the workers at the donation bag collection points, to voluntary flag-sellers coming from internal and external sources, and to all groups, companies and individuals who had given support to this flag day.
