Uses of Donations
In 2018-19, the Agency applied $210,000 from the fund-raising activities to subsidize service units to promote a total of 5 service plans. All of the above plans are innovative services, as well as allowing older persons with intellectual disabilities to delay aging and enjoy their old age.
In addition, the Agency will provide additional funding for over $70,000 to implement the “Cheer On” Parents and Relatives Resource Centre to support caregivers for people with intellectual disabilities.
