Objective:

In order to develop the potentials of its members and explore more job opportunities for them, the Centre started an outreach ID photo taking service in February 2007. The service was provided by its members with guidance from staff. They learnt the way of operating the service and the skills required for the service through a variety of training, including taking photos, editing photos on the computer, putting photos onto a CD and dealing with customers. The service has enabled them to gain new career development possibilities in their routine lives and get a higher level of life satisfaction.

Content:

The service provides on-site ID photo taking for groups and organizations in the neighbourhood.

Service Targets:

Groups and organizations in the neighbourhood, such as rehabilitation societies, special schools and voluntary organizations.

Price:

12 copies of the same photo for $20

Original photo on CD $15 each

Remarks: The charge for travelling will be waived if the number of persons is above or more than 40 and the site is located in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long or Tin Shui Wai. The patron has to pay the actual travelling expenses of the service team if the number of persons is less than the specified minimum and the site is remote.

ID Photo Taking in the Centre:

ID photo (except ID photo for the Mainland Travel Permit) taking service will be provided by the service team for individuals on designated dates. Advance booking by telephone one week before the designated service date is required. Photo output takes about one week’s time.

Family Photo Taking in the Centre:

Family photo taking will be provided by the service team for members of the centre and their families. Advance booking is required.

Different backdrops available for choosing
Two photo sizes, 2R and 4R, available for choosing (other photo sizes to be negotiated)
Shooting props provided (self-brought props and costumes are welcome)
Free CD with selected photos
Number of family members two to five
Price to be negotiated if the number of family members is more than five or the photos are to be taken at a place away from the centre

Price:

A. 10 photos for $200

B. 25 photos for $350

C. 50 photos for $600

*Photo output takes three weeks’ time.
