Founded in 1979, Wai Ji Christian Service (“WJCS”) is a government-subvented non-governmental organization (“NGO”) providing a range of rehabilitative and care services mainly for people with disability to help them develop their potential and integrate into the community. WJCS currently runs 23 service units including rehabilitative centres, hostels, workshops and day activity centres; and a social enterprise known as Wai Ji Hong Yip. Opportunity is now open to suitable candidates with solid and extensive experience in corporate administration and service management for this challenging post as Head of the organization.
The position & Job Scope :
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive is charged with the overall management responsibilities of the organization encompassing strategic planning, service development, resources management, administration and stakeholder management. With the support of more than 540 multi-disciplinary staff members, the appointee will be required to oversee all aspects of the services, administration, financial and human resources management, in particular:
(1) To provide professional advice and support to the Board in strategic planning and execute the directives of the Board and various Committees and Task Forces;
(2) To take the leading role in the development and provision of quality service to the service users; set management role model, motivate and engage functional leaders in various service teams to attain the defined organizational goals;
(3) To oversee the management of various organizational supporting functions in finance, HR, IT and administration; effectively direct and manage financial and manpower resources to support service development and provision;
(4) To provide advice and guidance for the corporate communication heads in setting effective strategy of fundraising and community/parents networking;
(5) To spearhead, provide advice to the design and implementation of various organizational effectiveness programs to suitably revise current HR & financial policies and operation guidelines so as to promote corporate governance and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
(6) To perform any other duties as assigned by the Board from time to time.
Requirements :The applicants should possess:
(a) A bachelor degree in social work, social science or other relevant disciplines;
(b) Registration of Social Worker;
(c) Very good English and Chinese language skills and ability to deliver accurate and persuasive verbal presentation and written proposal;
(d) Proven track record of no less than 20 years of relevant service management experience with solid corporate administration skills, of which at least 10 years taking senior posts at corporate level in an NGO of similar size;
(e) Superb Leadership with strong sense of responsibility, reliably able to develop and motivate a cohesive work team to drive results;
(f) Competency to approach complicated issues with an analytical mind and sound judgment to tackle management problems.
Salary : Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Post: Officer, Branding and Digital Communications
Job Requirements:
(1) A Bachelor's degree in communications, languages, translations, marketing, or any related disciplines, a master’s degree preferred;
(2) Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
(3) Proven experience of no less than 6 years in one or more specialization in corporate communications such as copywriting and editing, public relations, public affairs, media relations, event management, NGOs' experience preferred;
(4) Some hands-on experience in online or social media communications, and fund raising preferred;
(5) Willing to serve those in need, with outgoing personality, a good team player with strong sense of responsibilities and good time management skills, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Job duties and responsibilities:
i. Coordinate and manage the year plan of the organization’s branding and promotional activities, and assist in putting the plans into execution;
ii. Assist in making sure all the external promotional materials are consistent with the organization’s branding guidelines;
iii. Manage the work quality of any outsourced service providers if necessary;
iv. Suggest well-suited online and offline channels and formats for promoting the organization and their services;
v. Manage and update the organization's website, and work with the selected website design company for their website revamp and updates;
vi. Set up well-planned schedule and manage the posts on social media, and make suggestions on "likes"-adding activities;
vii. Provide assistance in the execution of fund-raising and volunteer recruitment programmes and activities;
viii. Maintain corporate database of donors and volunteers;
ix. Any other duties to be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

iv. Assist in maintaining good media relations, coordinate media invitations and briefings if required, and prepare press releases;
v. Collect and report news clippings related to the organization and social service field;
vi. Coordinate funding applications and follow up their approvals and receipts of funds;
vii. Collect, consolidate and submit on-time reports of fund usages to funders;
viii. Provide assistance in event coordination if required;
ix. Any other duties to be assigned from time to time.
